Not sure what the difference is between this and "cologne" but this "perfume for men" has a pleasant enough smell but I'd guess most are purchasing it for the pheromone claim. I applied some periodically over the course of a few weeks and all I can say is that the only difference in the behavior of my female partner between wearing it and wearing it was once in a while she'd say, "you smell nice".
